Barbara Mathews Ellena
Award-winning Interior Designer with Mathews Design Associates. Barbara is also an accomplished fundraiser, having chaired events for Wings for LIFE International, Make-A-Wish and other charitable organizations. She is Event Chair for ChannelMom’s annual fundraiser, Accelebrate!, held yearly at the iconic Bandimere Speedway in Morrison, CO. Barbara (pictured on right in photo) is married to Greg Ellena and they have one daughter, Catherine (pictured at left in photo). Barbara joined ChannelMom’s Board in 2021.
Trish is a wife and mother of 2 adult children. Since 1987, she has been married to Rev. Stu Fuhlendorf, Senior Pastor of Redemption Hills Church, where she also serves as the Director of Marketing and Events. Trish has been a tireless advocate for the covenant of marriage and has a love and compassion for those in the bondage of addiction. She is a Major Gifts Donor Advisor for the ministry of EMF: K-LOVE and Air1 Radio, AccessMore, and WTA Christian Media. Trish loves her home state of Colorado, her 2 big dogs, cooking, and exercise (to offset the cooking). Trish has been on the ChannelMom Board since 2014.
Jennifer Jo Lloyd
Jennifer Lloyd has been married since 1997 and is the mother of 3 children. She grew up north of downtown Pittsburgh where her extended family still reside. She earned her title as Early Education Specialist and Elementary School Teacher Certification at the University of Pittsburgh in 1998. She taught kindergarten and preschool for 6 years before starting her family. Jennifer relocated to Denver in 2005 and learned about ChannelMom Radio for the first time at a MOPS meeting where Jenny Dean Schmidt was a guest speaker. She is an active volunteer at her children’s schools and also acts as the volunteer Prayer Coordinator and Development Director for ChannelMom. She joined the board in March 2018.
Tonya is a mother of two adult children and author of the book, No Perfect Parent, Just a Perfect Purpose: Keys To Unlocking Every Child’s Greatness. Tonya also owns her own successful business, Rent-A-Theme Entertainment, and she brings a wealth of business experience and parenting knowledge to the Board.

Misty & Wayne Rector
Misty is a wife, stay-at-home mom, and homeschool teacher. She and her husband, Wayne, have been married since 2007, and they have two sons. She grew up in Wichita, and moved to Colorado in 1998. After graduating from Metropolitan State University in 2002 with a B.S. in Marketing, she worked for 5 years at Quiznos Corporate. She has been homeschooling her sons for their entire educational journey and loves learning alongside of them. Misty is a tutor in their Classical Conversations homeschool community and actively involved in Community Bible Study. Misty is honored to serve on the ChannelMom Board and enjoys organizing ChannelMom Coffees.
Wayne is a dad and husband. He graduated from college in 1991 with a business administration degree and moved to Denver two years later. In 1995, he launched his own business in the construction industry and has developed it into a thriving company that affords his wife, Misty, to stay at home to focus on raising their two sons. Wayne enjoys volunteering. He taught AWANA for many years, coaches his sons’ soccer and basketball teams, and currently leads an organized Bible study group. Family time is hard to come by, but is very important to Wayne. Bedtime stories, movie nights at home, and road trips are among his favorites. He loves to travel with his family and is always willing to try a new destination, especially a sugary beach in the Caribbean!
Mike is a husband and father of two children. He and his wife, Jenny, have been married since 1989 (they met in nursery school). Mike is Superintendent of Platte Canyon School District, where he also serves as High School Principal. Over the years, Mike has also served as a high school math teacher and head varsity football coach. Before he turned his career to education, Mike was a Defensive Coordinator for a Division III college football team. Mike was formerly a director on the Board for CHSAA (Colorado High School Activities Association) and he joined the ChannelMom Board of Directors in 2014.
