ChannelMom Tire Mom Giveaway Contest Official Rules:

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with (i) any social media platforms, including, but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, or (ii) any radio stations, including but not limited to KRKS-FM, Salem Radio Network, Salem Media Group, any SRN affiliates and any radio affiliates that broadcast ChannelMom’s radio show.

ChannelMom Tire Mom Giveaway Contest Details:

Event Name: ChannelMom Tire Mom Giveaway Contest

Contest Entry Period: Begins on December 6, 2019 at 1:30 PM Mountain Time and ends on December 14, 2019 at 11:59PM Mountain Time. Entries posted on social media or submitted by email must be timestamped within the Contest Entry Period entry and end dates. Any entry emailed or posted outside of those time will not be included for consideration.

To Enter: You may enter the ChannelMom Tire Mom Giveaway Contest to win ONE (1) set of four (4) tires, valued up to, but not exceeding, one thousand dollars ($1,000) for a mom who nominates herself or for a mom or caregiver nominated by someone else (courtesy of The Tire Mom, LLC (“The Tire Mom”)) by posting a photo of either your, or your mom’s, Tire Identification Number (TIN) (the “TIN” or “Tire Halo” is located near the inner rim of the tire just after the DOT marking, the last four numbers, which show the birthdate of the tire in an oval) and a short positive description of the mom or caregiver and why the mom/caregiver is in need of a new set of tires, and using the hash tag #channelmomtiremomgiveaway.

The Tire Mom and ChannelMom’s panel of judges will select five finalists from eligible entrants, meeting the entrant criteria, based on their photos and descriptions. The five finalists will be announced on December 20, 2019 between 1:00 PM and 1:30 PM Mountain Time, both on ChannelMom Radio and later on Instagram and Facebook.

The ChannelMom Tire Mom Giveaway Contest panel of judges will then select one winner from the five finalists, based on the contest entrant criteria, photos and descriptions. The winner will be contacted by phone and announced on ChannelMom Radio’s broadcast on December 27, 2019 between 1:00 PM and 1:30 PM Mountain Time.

Once the winner is chosen, the winner will be allowed to select a physical store (based in the U.S. in one of the 50 states) approved by The Tire Mom through which to purchase ONE (1) set of four (4) tires valued up to, but not exceeding, one thousand dollars ($1,000). The Tire Mom will require a written estimate from the tire store via email or secured text and then The Tire Mom will pay the store directly for the ONE (1) set of four (4) tires via phone or online.

The winner will be solely responsible for any applicable federal, state, and local taxes and/or local laws and regulations, and the reporting consequences thereof, and for any other fees or costs associated with the prizes. Each Winner may be required to provide Sponsor, The Tire Mom, with a valid social security number or tax identification number for tax reporting purposes to claim the prize. Winner will be required to complete and submit an IRS Form W-9 (this will include the filling in of the winner’s social security number) or the equivalent for receipt of any prize valued at $600 or more. In the event the winner is deemed ineligible, fails to comply with the Official Rules, or is not available to claim the prize before the specified cutoff date of December 31st, 2019 at 11:59PM, then an alternative winner will be selected from the same set of eligible submissions.

Contest Criteria for All Entrants: Participants must be legal residents of the United States or the District of Columbia and be at least 18 years of age at the time of entry (excepting residents of Alabama and Nebraska, who must be at least 19 years of age at time of entry and residents of Mississippi, who must be at least 21 years of age at time of entry). If you are younger than above listed ages, you may alert a parent or legal guardian about this contest so they may enter on behalf of your family.

All entrants must, during the Contest Entry Period either post to Instagram, Facebook or Twitter using the hash tag #channelmomtiremomgiveaway (@channelmom) or send an email to channelmom@gmail.com with the following: (i) a photo of the Tire Halo from the tires of the mom/caregiver they are nominating, or your own tires if you are nominating yourself; and (ii) a paragraph (of 400 words or less) on why they are nominating the mom/caregiver or themselves to win a new set of four (4) tires. Posts or emails may also include a photo of the mom being nominated, but this is not mandatory. Entrants, who are moms, may nominate themselves.

All entrants must agree to the Official Rules posted on channelmom.com (link provided through social media posts) by clicking the “I agree” button on the rules page posted on https://channelmom.org.

The panel of judges will take the Tire Halo listed on the entrant’s posted Tire Halo photo into
consideration in the selection process of the five finalists and the winner. The panel of judges will also choose the five finalists and the winner based on the descriptive paragraphs of a mom/caregiver and why the person is in need of a new set of four (4) tires. The panel of judges reserves the right to establish a total entry cap, based on manageable volume. Participating in this ChannelMom Tire Mom Giveaway Contest and acceptance of a prize constitutes a winner’s permission for ChannelMom and The Tire Mom or their agents to photograph, and to use his/her name, address (city and state), likeness, photograph, voice, biographical information, posted descriptions, photos and/or any statements made by him/her regarding the ChannelMom Tire Mom Giveaway Contest or its sponsors for purposes of trade, publicity or promotion without additional financial or other compensation.

Disclaimers

In consideration for being permitted to participate in the ChannelMom Tire Mom Giveaway Contest (the “Event”), participants, entrants and winner(s) hereby agree to the following:

On behalf of any themselves and their heirs, successors, executors and other representatives,
participants, entrants and/or winner(s) (collectively, the “Participants”), Participants hereby release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless ChannelMom Media and Outreach, The Tire Mom, LLC, and Diana Hubner, and their members, employees, agents, volunteers, officers, directors, agents, sponsors, providers, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers, successors, assigns, social media platforms utilized in the conduct of the Event, and each of their respective parent, subsidiary and affiliated entities, and the officers, shareholders, directors, members, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively the “ChannelMom Parties” and “The Tire Mom Parties”) from any and all claims, causes of action, and liabilities (including, without limitation, any claim of negligence) which may arise out of or are in any way related to participation in the Event and any prizes winner(s) may receive. The Participants further release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the ChannelMom Parties and The Tire Mom Parties from and against any liabilities, costs, losses, or damages in any way arising from or related to the Participants’ participation in the Event and/or related to any prize including, without limitation, losses, damages or injuries to Participants’ or any other person’s equipment or other property, or to their persons, related to participating in the Event or arising out of any violation of rights of publicity or privacy, or claims of defamation or portrayal in a false light; or based on any claim of infringement of intellectual property; or from any typographical, human or other error in the printing, offering, selection, operation or announcement of any Event activity and/or prize. ChannelMom Media and Outreach or The Tire Mom may also require eligible winner(s) to sign a liability release confirming such consent.

Participants in the Event:

• agree to grant ChannelMom Media and Outreach and The Tire Mom a non-exclusive, royaltyfree, fully-paid up, perpetual, worldwide license to edit, telecast, exhibit, rerun, reproduce, prepare and reproduce derivative works, use, syndicate, license, print, distribute and otherwise exploit any items (including any photos, videos, audio, or written material) submitted as part of your contest entry (the “Materials”), or any portion thereof, in any manner and in any and all formats and media now known or hereafter devised, without payment to you or any third party; acknowledge that reserves the right, in its sole discretion, not to use the Materials at all.
• agree that neither the ChannelMom Parties nor the Tire Mom Parties make any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, regarding any prize, including, but not limited to, the quality, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. The ChannelMom Parties and The Tire Mom Parties maintain no control over the personnel, equipment or operation of any manufacturer or other person or entity providing products or services (“Provider”) as part of the prize provided in connection with the Event and will not be responsible or liable for any injury, damage, loss, expense, accident, delay, inconvenience or other irregularity that may be caused by or contributed to: (1) any cause, condition or event beyond the control of the ChannelMom Parties or The Tire Mom Parties; (2) the wrongful, negligent or unauthorized act or omission on the part of the Provider or any of their agents, servants, employees, or independent contractors; (3) the wrongful, negligent or unauthorized act or omission on the part of any other person or entity not an employee of the ChannelMom Parties or The Tire Mom Parties; or (4) by any defect in or failure of any equipment, service, or product that is owned, operated furnished or otherwise used by a Provider.

The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. If any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained herein.
