When Christmas Comes To A Close…
A great concept presented in Home Front Magazine this month: how to “be the gift” instead of just receiving one… or two… or twenty-five! If you ever worry that Christmas can make your kids self-centered, check out some ways to teach them to give back. After all, “it’s more blessed to give than receive” and almost every parent wants their kids to be blessed! More at: HomeFrontMag.com Just click on “Read Current Issue” and go to pages 10 and 11.
Your Kids Can Learn To Give Back And BE The Blessing
We presented our kids with several organizations and ministries that reach out and help (helping serve food to homeless men, giving socks to homeless teens, visiting sick children in the hospital); this New Year, our kids will set out to “be the gift” in one of these ministries. And, mom will accompany them, so she can be a gift too! Truly… a lifelong lesson for your children that can change the world.
