In becoming the new Prison Outreach Director for Channel Mom, Alie Johnson has taken her career in Criminal Justice and found her passion and dedication--to exponentially grow the Forever Moms Prison Outreach Program far and wide! With a strong belief in the power of second chances AND the importance of community support, Alie is committed to nurturing connections between incarcerated women and their children. Her unique perspective as a mother drives her to advocate for a program that fosters healthy relationships, personal growth and aims to break the chains of generational incarceration.
When introduced to the Forever Moms Program, Alie instantly saw God's hand and opened her heart to grow the program to a national level. Recently, she relocated to Arizona with her family and aims to launch the first Forever Moms Program in a state outside of Colorado!
With this opportunity, Alie sees the importance of being "a light in the dark" for those around her and believes that every mom in prisons across the world should have access to the Forever Moms Prison Outreach Program.
Outside of her role, she enjoys crafting/design, volunteering with her church, and spending quality time with her kids, who inspire her every day.
We invite you to join the conversation and connect with ChannelMom on our website. Leave comments or questions, or volunteer to help us empower moms in need. Together, let's support moms to make the world better!
